John “Jay” Bellicchi, known as REMOTE,
Miami-based muralist whose creative journey began in Boston’s 1980s hip-hop and graffiti scene. Since relocating to Miami in 2000, Jay has developed a signature visual language—merging geometric abstraction, bold color fields, and urban storytelling.
His large-scale murals span over 60 walls across the U.S., commissioned by corporate, public, and private clients including LYFT, Heineken, MasterCard, Club Med, Shake Shack, and Hard Rock Stadium. Jay began painting in Wynwood in 2009 and has played a defining role in its evolution as an international destination for mural art.
Through REMOTE, Jay bridges street sensibility with spatial refinement—offering surfaces a dynamic identity and cultural resonance. His practice balances structure and spontaneity, resulting in work that feels intentional, kinetic, and deeply rooted. From stadium facades to private interiors, each project is treated as a site-specific visual intervention.
